Alfonso has always had a difficult and conflict-ridden relationship with his father, Giacomo. When Giacomo falls seriously ill, however, his son stumbles upon the fact that his father has always kept his true profession – that of a gigolo – a secret from him. Facing a crisis in his marriage to Margherita and financial difficulties, Alfonso decides to turn his life on its head and follow in his father’s professional footsteps, discovering a completely unexpected side to himself.
