“Eglefino”: the animated musical that celebrates uniqueness, inclusion and EcoMuvi-certified sustainability

Press / News /

Premiering on Rai Yoyo on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 at 8:20 p.m. – and subsequently available on RaiPlayEglefino is the new animated musical produced by Enanimation in collaboration with Rai Kids, inspired by the book “Eglefino, sei speciale!” by Laura Carusino.

A film that explores diversity, belonging, and the search for one’s place in the world, standing out not only for its artistic quality but also for its commitment to EcoMuvi-certified sustainability.

Since 2021, the EcoMuvi standard – already applied to live-action productions, documentaries, short films, and advertising – has extended its methodology to the world of animation, adapting criteria, indicators, and processes to meet the specific needs of animated productions. Eglefino is among the projects that chose to follow this path, integrating good environmental and organizational practices throughout the entire production chain.

Directed by Lisa Arioli, the film was brought to life by a team of 150 Italian artists, combining high-quality paperless 2D animation with advanced CGI. The original score by Marco Carusino enriches a narrative that blends comedy, musical elements, and a strong focus on inclusivity.

The film will premiere at the Sotto18+ Film Festival in Turin on Saturday, 13 December, at Cinema Massimo, with the participation of author Laura Carusino, the director, and producer Federica Maggio.

With Eglefino, Enanimation brings to the screen a story capable of touching audiences of all ages, demonstrating how creativity and sustainability can progress hand in hand — even in the field of animation.
