Rome, 21 October 2025 — Auditorium of GSE, Viale Maresciallo Pilsudski 92

EcoMuvi will participate as an official speaker at the conference “Spettacoli Sostenibili 2025: Incentives and Best Practices for the Ecological and Energy Transition of Cultural Industries”, a key event for the cultural and audiovisual sector taking place in Rome at the headquarters of Gestore Servizi Energetici (GSE), within the official program of the Rome Film Fest.

The initiative is promoted by the Osservatorio Spettacolo e Ambiente (OSA) – a project launched by ANEC (National Association of Cinema Exhibitors), ATIP (Association of Private Italian Theatres) and Green Cross Italia – with the support of the Ministry of Culture (MiC), and in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE), GSE, ICSC (Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit), and the Rome Film Fest itself.

The event aims to foster dialogue between institutions, businesses and professionals in the cultural sector on strategies and tools to accelerate the ecological transition of the audiovisual, theatrical and performing arts industries, focusing on energy efficiency, Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), Green Public Procurement (GPP), and incentive mechanisms for cultural enterprises.

EcoMuvi featured in Session 2: “Productions and Studios”

Session 2, dedicated to Productions and Studios (2:30–4:00 p.m.), will be an operational discussion on sustainability protocols, guidelines and ESG strategies for audiovisual companies.

In this session, Ludovica Chiarini, CEO of EcoMuvi, will speak to present EcoMuvi’s technical and operational model — the first accredited sustainability standard for the audiovisual industry, recognized by ACCREDIA in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020:2012.

EcoMuvi’s contribution will focus on the importance of measurability and certification of environmental impacts, and on promoting concrete and verifiable actions within production processes — integrating sustainability as a driver of competitiveness and innovation across the entire film and media value chain.

The session will also feature representatives from the Ministry of Culture, the Italian Film Commissions, the Association of Audiovisual Producers (APA) and PEFC Italia, highlighting a shared, system-wide approach that bridges public and private stakeholders.

A step forward towards a national roadmap for cultural sustainability

Moderated by Marco Gisotti, Scientific Director of the Osservatorio Spettacolo e Ambiente, the conference will include three thematic sessions and conclude with an institutional roundtable aimed at defining a national roadmap for the ecological transition of the cultural sector — identifying key actions, priorities and concrete commitments for ministries, organizations and trade associations.

EcoMuvi’s participation in Spettacoli Sostenibili 2025 reaffirms the company’s role as a benchmark for the integration of sustainable practices in the audiovisual field, promoting transparency, traceability and social responsibility through a technical, certified and collaborative approach.
