Milan, June 8, 2024 – Yesterday marked the fourth edition of Pianeta 2030, Corriere della Sera’s Festival dedicated to sustainability across different sectors, held at Triennale Milano.
The event featured a panel titled “Rewriting Priorities for the Protection of the Environment and Our Health: The Role of Sustainability Certifications in the Corporate Revolution”, which included among its speakers Ludovica Chiarini, CEO of EcoMuvi.
The discussion offered an engaging exchange of ideas and valuable insights for the sustainable future of businesses. Participants explored the importance of working across various stages of production chains to foster sustainability. In particular, Ludovica Chiarini emphasized how cinema, behind the scenes, represents a community of professionals who work tirelessly to bring a film to life — highlighting both the challenges and the opportunities for the sector to lead a sustainability transition capable of inspiring the entire industry.
EcoMuvi was founded precisely with the goal of supporting film productions by providing innovative and sustainable solutions to face these challenges. The company has worked directly with Accredia to ensure a systematic and authoritative approach, given the lack of existing certification schemes in the audiovisual field.
Chiarini pointed out that we are living in an era defined by high levels of research and innovation, yet marked by a shortage of data and transparency. EcoMuvi is committed to bridging these gaps by training industry professionals and supporting film productions through a transformation of working practices that is both sustainable and of high quality.
“Our mission is to help productions evolve through a sustainable and quality-driven approach, making visible and giving value to the extraordinary work of film crews,” concluded Chiarini.
The event offered a unique opportunity to discuss the sustainable future of enterprises and to shed light on the behind-the-scenes world of cinema — showcasing the complexity and importance of the professions involved in bringing a film to life.
